This project begins with the second part of Exercise 1: Two Lights, and develops to the Exercise 2: Dynamic Product.
Keplar is a Pediatric care toy designed to be used by Pediatricians for toddlers/children who are easily stressed with the traditional doctor's office and tests. It has a pulse sensor and an LCD screen at the back where the doctor can read the BPM. Keplar's features include a proximity sensor, which allows its eyes to light up when the patient approaches it at 2 feet. The eyes glow brighter as the person is closer, and will also blink in different colors according to the pulse. The mouth has the sensor, which you can trigger in order to dispense bandages through the slot on the bottom right.
Keplar's geometric and robotic form is based on its high-tech features as a pediatric toy and a night light, and is also on trend with the increasing popularity of robotic toys.
